    ASB Hall of Fame on March 4th, 2013.
Torahiko Hayashi, Rheon’s Honorary Chairman has been inducted to the ASB (American Society of Baking) Hall of Fame on March 4th, 2013.
Hayashi’s life time work for the bread industry has been recognized in the United States. Some of his many accomplishments include the automatic Pastry Line (MM Line) and various Bread Lines that produce Stress-Free bread.
This ceremony was held at the General Assembly of ASB in Chicago.
Boasting a history of 116 years, the ASB formerly known as ABA (American Baking Association) has been in operation since 1897.
There are currently 42 people who have been inducted to the “Hall of Fame” in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the bread industry in the United States. Hayashi is one of the 45 “Hall of Famers” and is the second non-American to receive this honor.
The plaques which describes the achievements of these individuals are exhibited in The Baking Hall of Fame, located at AIB (American Institute of Baking).
